Matthew Little was born here in North Carolina in a small town named Woodland. He recently moved to Morehead City and has loved every second of the new move. Matthew Little attended East Carolina University and realized a dream of his was to pursue radiation therapy dosimetry.
He continued down that path by transferring to Pitt Community College. He was soon working at Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC. After working there for several years, he found this new field in which he was interested. Before joining the Crystal Coast team, he studied and worked in hearing healthcare for over a year.
He realized this was the path he wanted to go down because he has always had a passion for helping others. Hearing healthcare has felt like a dream job, allowing him to help someone every day. He believes one of the most important aspects is to be genuine and make a new friend in the office each time he sees a patient. Matt enjoys spending time with his family, dogs, and loved ones. After moving to Morehead City, he developed a fishing hobby!

Dr. Jackie Jaloszynski,

AuD – Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Jackie- as she is known to her patients has over 35 years of experience evaluating hearing problems and fitting hearing aids.

Her experiences include; providing clinical services in an ENT practice, representing 2 of the World’s Largest Hearing Aid Manufacturers’ and prior to moving to the coast and opening Crystal Coast Hearing she had been providing personal, state-of-the-art care for the last 20 years in her own private hearing aid dispensing practice in the Durham/Chapel Hill area.

She has been a Governor appointed member of the NC Hearing Aid Dealers and Fitters Board, has served as an appointee and co-chair of a State Task Force charged with developing guidelines for consumers to use prior to purchasing hearing aids and has served for the last 9 years and continues to serve as the President of the North Carolina Academy of Hearing Rehabilitation.

Dr. Jackie knows how important hearing is to your life, and her practice provides an alternative approach to cookie-cutter hearing aid sales.  She knows that anyone can sell you a hearing aid, but offering the expertise, professional service and continuing support you need to truly experience better hearing and ensure your hearing needs are being met is what she strives to deliver.

Dr. Jackie lives in Pine Knoll Shores with the 2 office greeters, Winston and Lukus.  When not working, they all enjoy walking on the beach and picking up treasures, gardening, and at low tide playing in the sound. Dr. Jackie enjoys going out on the boat, but doesn’t enjoy getting sea-sick, likes catching but is not especially fond of just fishing, and after 20 plus years of being a “weekender” loves now being a full time resident.

Dr. Jackie knows for anyone to be successful wearing hearing aids, the technology must be a match for the person’s listening environments; additionally, a proper fit and programming of the hearing aids is critical for hearing success.

Patient Greeters

A visit to Crystal Coast Hearing would not be complete with a warm friendly greeting from your four legged friends.

We are a dog friendly office and always enjoy making new friends!

Winston & Lukus

Winston (7 years old) and Lukus (6 years old) are experienced patient greeters, working from the ages of 8 and 10 weeks, at Dr. Jackie’s original practice in the Triangle area.

Winston will always be the first to greet you, will be sniffing to see if your pockets contain “cookies”, (he has been trained well by the patients) and loves to accompany you in the sound booth when it is time for your hearing test.

Lukus on the other hand will be much more cautious, he wants to get to know you first, but don’t be surprised if as soon as you sit down you don’t find him cuddling up against you.  Lukus loves to dance, shake hands and will give you a high 5.

Both Winston and Lukus are Bichon Frise’s, known for their love of people as well as being non-shedding and non-allergenic.
